The best time to sail in the Ionian Islands is from May to October, when the weather is warm and sea conditions are ideal. The summer months, July and August, offer temperatures of around 31°C and water temperatures of 25°C, making them the ideal time to sail. For less crowded beaches and harbours, it is ideal to visit the islands in June or September.
